Well here it goes.
I've debated (for over a year now) committing to creating a blog and really sticking to it. Honestly between full time teaching, being a mom (and pregnant with our second), sticking to my wifely duties and being a photographer, who am I to think I can juggle putting one more thing on my plate? Apparently I do...
"Do it with passion or not at all."
The more I debated the more I realized I am either going to go all in and really be devoted to this or I'm not doing it at all. Facebook is a great social media tool for getting your photography out there, as well as Instagram, but truth be told neither one of those tools seem to truly reflect who the person behind the camera is or the stories to be told.
You can obviously get a feel for their style in photography, and their art, but who doesn't want to know the story behind each picture? Beautiful love stories between a newly engaged couple or even the story behind the family of five who portrays so much joy and happiness (and maybe a little bit of real life chaos!)
So with all of that said, here I am. Starting a photography blog.
My hope is that you guys can catch a glimpse into why I do what I do. I want to be able to throughly explain my sessions, the people in them, the beauty you see and the art behind it all.
Give me some grace as we explore this new adventure together. I rarely get out of my comfort zone, but when I do I know it'll be a good thing.
